There is a small airport near Bol served by small, twin-turbo aircraft carrying about 100 passengers. Croatia Airlines runs a service from Zagreb to Bol. There are other airlines running services into Bol airport from other European locations such as Austria and Germany but these are charter flights usually.
From Split airport there is a bus service which runs from right outside the arrivals hall at the airport to the harbour at Split. From there you may catch the catamaran service to Bol which runs at 4pm once daily. It is best to purchase your ticket as early as possible in the busy season. The Jadrolinija kiosk for buying tickets is right beside where the bus from the airport drops you. The return journey (Bol to Split) runs daily at 6.30am. This is by far the most convenient method of travelling to and from Split/Bol.
Otherwise, there is the ferry from Split to Supetar (the main town on Brac). A regular service runs throughout the year but during the main tourist season there are extra ferries. These are run by Jadrolinija. From Supetar to Bol you may use the local bus service which takes about an hour and costs approximately 30 kuna (£4) or take a taxi (350 kuna, £46) which takes approximately 35 minutes.
Alternatively, car hire is available from various companies at Split airport.
